The Expressions Mixtes project is a cultural and artistic initiative carried out in two stages. The first stage, Expressions Mixtes 3, presented in November 2024, took the form of a documentary giving voice to LGBTQIA+ individuals, highlighting stories of discrimination, exile, and resilience, and enriched with a participatory theatrical element. I contributed by designing the poster, flyer and photographing the documentary’s interviewees, helping to bring their stories and presence to the screen. The second stage, the Expressions Mixtes Festival, held in June 2025, extended this approach through a multidisciplinary cultural event combining theatre, cinema, performances, and discussion spaces, celebrating the diversity of LGBTQIA+ identities and narratives in an inclusive and accessible setting. For the festival, I captured the opening and overall atmosphere, and also created video animations from these photos, generated with artificial intelligence, further enhancing the project’s visual experience.
